Assemble

Installation / UK / 10-2016
Assemble explores the feelings of introspection, meditation and the desire for self-understanding. I constructed charcoal drawings on tissue paper hung within a rib-like wooden frame – allowing the central form to break and re-form as the viewer moves around the installation.

Drawing on endoscopic images, it examines the fragility of diving deep into our gooey, emotional insides, constantly fracturing and reforming our selves to seek understanding.
